Enquiry form. When you contact us through the form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), country, area of interest and your message.
Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of access. This is needed to deliver the website securely.
Email. If you write to us directly, we process your email address and the content of your message.
3. Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare quotations or offers — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- To meet statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising profiling, or pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not run third-party tracking scripts. Only technically necessary storage, if any, is used to make the site work.
5. Service providers
We use carefully selected providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR):
- Website hosting — Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, which serves the site and processes server log data.
- Email delivery — Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace / Gmail), which transmits enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting business relationship. If no business relationship follows, we delete them after no more than 24 months. Where correspondence forms part of a contract, statutory retention periods of up to 10 years apply under German commercial and tax law. Server logs are deleted by our host within a short period, typically 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- restrict how we process it (Art. 18);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21).
To exercise any of these rights, write to sales@magnihydrotech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — for us, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
8. Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page. See also our Terms & Conditions.
